Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash with an 18 wheeler on Highway 6.
The crash happened Sunday night on Highway 6 just south of Riesel. Department of Public Safety says an elderly couple driving an SUV pulled out on Highway 6 from county road 118 just before 7:00. The 18 wheeler carrying dry cement crashed into the side of the SUV causing it to roll several times.

The elderly couple both couldn't get out, but crews were able to get them to an ambulance. They were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
