Driver killed when car runs up embankment, crashes into bridge

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —The name of the driver killed Friday when he drove up an embankment and into a bridge has been released.
Cory Duntavius Brewster, 24, of Greenville, died of blunt force trauma to the head and torso, Greenville County Coroner Parks Evans said.
Brewster was not wearing a seat belt.
The crash happened at 11 p.m.
Multiple state troopers and fire departments responded.
The crash left the car hanging from a bridge over I-385, shutting down multiple lanes on the interstate.The wreck is still under investigation by the Simpsonville Police Department and the Greenville County Coroner's Office
