A man has died following a fatal collision with a barrier while operating a quad in northwest Edmonton.
Edmonton police received a call Friday morning from a resident who found the dead man near 184 Street and 137 Avenue.
“This is a scenario where somebody came across a deceased male this morning so we don’t have any witnesses at this time to tell us, you know, exactly what happened,” said Noreen Remtulla, a spokeswoman with the Edmonton Police Service.
Police believe the man was operating a quad in a closed section of 184 Street northbound when he collided with a concrete barrier.
