DES PLAINES, Ill. (WLS) -- One person was extricated from a vehicle that was involved in a crash with a construction truck on the eastbound Jane Addams Memorial Tollway near Elmhurst Road Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews were seen working to free the person from the car around 5:45 a.m. About 15 minutes later, they were able to pull that person out. The red construction truck was seen on its side in the construction zone.
The details of the crash are unclear. Traffic jammed on eastbound I-90 until crews cleared the scene.
