A small plane crashed Thursday in Long Beach, Calif., the Long Beach Airport said.
The single-engine plane crash, which the airport identified as a Cessna, crashed into the perimeter fence, according to Long Beach Fire. The pilot was transported to the hospital.
The crash closed Lakewood Boulevard until the aircraft could be cleared.
