RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. - An 18-wheeler crashed Friday morning on Star Road in Rankin County.

Mississippi Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 9:40 a.m.

Authorities say the 18-wheeler was traveling west on Star Road crossing over Highway 49 when it was struck by a blue Ford Expedition that was traveling north on Highway 49.
