A Vermont man who police say crashed his boat in Malletts Bay will face charges.
Investigators say Matthew Yarbenet of Jericho collided with a moored boat July 25th and took off. Crews responded to find the two empty vessels, and feared someone may be in the water and launched a search overnight.
The next day police say Yarbenet turned himself into police. Monday he was cited to appear in court on charges of negligent operation and leaving the scene of an accident.
