A Kentucky church member has died after being bitten by a snake at a service, deputies confirm.
This past Sunday, John D. Brock, 60, was bitten by a snake during a church service at Mossy Simpson Pentecostal Church in Bell County.
He refused medical treatment and went to a nearby home, possibly one that belonged to a family member. The Bell County Coroner was called to the home later that afternoon, where Brock was pronounced dead.
The Sheriff's Office has opened a death investigation.
