JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
A train carrying 171 passengers collided with a car in
Riverside, cutting the vehicle in half on Tuesday.
The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department has confirmed an
Amtrak train crashed into a car at College Street and Willow Branch Avenue.
Lt. Elkins with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says the
car was split in half and the passenger in the back seat was ejected.

At least two people in the car had minor injuries, according
to JFRD.
A spokesperson for Amtrak said no one on the train was
injured.

The father of the young driver says JSO gave his son a
ticket (roughly $300) for trying to cross tracks while arms were down. JSO is
still investigating.
Young drivers do very stupid acts like this one. Perhaps this young idiot will learn a lesson and will not do it again.
