Someone shot at a BNSF train near Chinook in Blaine
County several days ago, and now BNSF is offering a reward for
information about the incident.
In a press release, BNSF spokesman Matt Jones says that a reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for the incident.
Jones says that the shooting happened in the early-morning hours of Saturday, May 23rd.

There were no injuries reported, but Jones said that it caused the train to go into an emergency stop.
It happened just east of Chinook at or near the rail crossing of Highway 2 and Elloam Road.
There is no word on how much damage was caused, and no other information has been released at this point.
