A truck rollover on U.S. Highway 89 led to more than 4,000 gallons of diesel fuel leaking from the tanker Thursday.
The crash occurred 30 miles south of Afton, Wyoming, around 6:20 a.m. Joshua Burrup, 36, of Chubbuck, was driving the 2015 Kenworth hauling diesel fuel for Hansen Oil Company of Soda Springs.
Burrup, who sustained minor injuries, was cited for failure to maintain a single lane of travel, the Wyoming Highway Patrol said.
Hazmat crews contained the spill near Salt Creek. Authorities believe none of the diesel entered the creek.
The highway was closed until 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
