The Florida Highway Patrol says a construction worker was
injured in a hit and run crash on Interstate-4 early Tuesday morning.
Deputies say 23-year-old Christopher David Cattaneo was located in the outside eastbound lane of I-4 rest area near mile marker 94 when he was hit by a vehicle around 1:45 a.m.
Investigators say the vehicle that fled the scene was a red Chevy Silverado Truck and should be missing its right side mirror and reflectors.
Officials say the victim was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center in serious condition.
