A school bus and car collided Friday morning in south Houston.

The collision happened about 7 a.m. on Tierwester near Good Hope, according to the Houston Fire Department.

Officials said 22 students, ages 5 to 13 years old, were on the bus at the time of the crash
The driver of the car, the bus driver and one student were taken to an area hospital for evaluation. Their possible injuries and conditions were not released. The other students were evaluated at the scene. Some were then transferred to another bus to be taken to school while others were released to the care of their parents.
