Traffic in north Fort Worth was as highly congested Thursday morning after an 18-wheeler tipped over on northbound Interstate 35W at Pharr Street.

NBC 5 reports that the semi was carrying 38,000 pounds of frozen Brussels sprouts.

Fort Worth police said the driver told police he fell asleep at the wheel, sparking the 2:45 a.m. wreck. He was treated on the scene by paramedics and released, police said.

No charges are expected, said Officer Daniel Segura, a police spokesman.

At 11:20 a.m., police reported that all lanes closed because of the wreck had been reopened.
