Authorities have identified a man who was killed Thursday morning in a plane crash in Dunklin County, Mo.
Emergency crews responded to the scene of the crash that took the life of Jack Short, 48, of Kennett, early Thursday morning in.
According to Dunklin County Sheriff Bob Holder, the crop duster hit power lines and went down.
The incident happened just after 6 a.m. near County Road 426 just east of Hwy. EE, outside of Kennett.
Deputies with the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department, the Missouri State Highway and the Kennett Fire Department also assisted.
The Federal Aviation Administration has been contacted and is expected to be on scene later on Thursday.
An autopsy has been set for Friday, July 8 ========================

The aircraft experienced an inflight powerline contact and subsequent impact with farm field terrain during an aerial application flight in Dunklin County northeast of Kennett, Missouri. The agplane sustained substantial damage and the sole pilot onboard received fatal injuries.
