Police say 29-year-old Natasha Sagapolutele, of Bear, was making a left hand turn from Route 4 onto Old Newark Road when her Ford Explorer was struck on the right-hand side by a Mazda 6.

The driver of the Mazda, 24-year-old Michael Burns of Newark, was apparently speeding at the time, police say.

Burns, who police say was not properly restrained, was pronounced dead at the scene.
