Three killed in Friday morning accident

WICHITA, Kansas –
Wichita police say a collision Friday killed two men and a woman. The accident occurred in south Wichita about 3:50 a.m. Friday. Police say an F-150 crossed the center lane at a high rate of speed and hit a Cadillac that was traveling northbound head-on.
Police say a 31-year-old man from Wichita was in an F-150 truck. The Cadillac carried a 69-year-old man and 62-year-old woman from Haysville.
Wichita police say they spotted the F-150 with its lights off and driving erratically near Roosevelt and Ross Parkway at 3:37 a.m. Police started to pursue the F-150 but called it off due to erratic driving about a minute later.
Approximately nine minutes later, Wichita police were dispatched to the accident on South Broadway.
The identities of the victims in the crash haven’t been released. They are still trying to notify next of kin. The investigation into the crash continues. (KSN photo)
