Three men are recovering following a boating accident on Lake Marion.
Officials
with the SC Department of Natural Resources say Monday, May 25 at
4:00pm, three men were riding in their 15-foot bass boat when it ran
aground near the Taw Caw Campground & Marina in Summerton.
One
person suffered minor injuries and was transported to Clarendon
Memorial Hospital while the two other men were airlifted to Richland
Memorial Hospital with injuries to the leg and chest.
Clarendon County Sheriff's Office also responded to the incident.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
