PORTLAND, OREGON
A man on a bicycle died Wednesday in a crash with a tow
truck, Portland Police said.
The crash happened around noon near the intersection of SE
Cesar Chavez Boulevard and Gladstone Street.
Emergency responders pronounced the bicycle rider dead at
the scene.
Witnesses say the two truck driver, who remained on scene, struck
the bicyclist while making a left turn.
The tow truck driver is cooperating with crash
investigators, police officials said.
Her boss at North Oregon Towing told KATU she has been
driving with his company for more than a year and that she was his "most
cautious driver."
Police are reviewing video from inside of the tow truck.
