PHOENIX, ARIZONA

Phoenix Fire crews say a 4-year-old girl and her mother were taken to the hospital after they were hurt in a rollover accident on I-10 Sunday morning.

The rollover crash happened at about 9 o'clock Sunday morning on westbound I-10 near 12th Street.  Arizona Department of Public Safety says a couch in the middle of the highway was a factor in the crash, but it's not clear if the furniture in the highway directly caused the crash.

The vehicle rolled over and Phoenix Fire crews say both the woman and her daughter are expected to survive.  A spokesperson for Phoenix Fire Department says that both the mother and daughter were wearing seat belts, which helped prevent more serious injuries.
