A Columbia man died Wednesday when the dump truck he was driving rolled over on County Road 325, a mile east of County Road 334 in Callaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident happened at 1 p.m. when a 2015 Freightliner driven by Danny Boyken, 52, went off the left side of the road and overturned.

Boyken was pronounced dead at the scene. He wasn’t wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
The death is the third this month in the patrol’s Troop F region.
