Three people are dead after two tractor-trailers were involved in a head-on collision in Royse City Wednesday morning, police say.
Royse City officials said a semi heading west on Interstate 30 crossed over the median and collided with another semi heading east just before 7 a.m.
A third vehicle was also involved in the crash.
All three drivers were killed in the crash. Capt. Greg Welch, with the Rockwall County Sheriff's Office, identified those killed as 38-year-old Guadalupe Garza Jr., of Lyford, Texas, a driver for TCI Trucking; 53-year-old Victor Bovkoun, of Ontario, Canada, a driver for Chantler Transport; and 56-year-old Kevin Battise, of Mesquite.

All eastbound lanes of I-30 were closed until just before 6 p.m.
