Worker injured in accident at McNeilus

A worker at McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing was seriously injured Wednesday when he was trapped under some equipment.
At 6:08 p.m. Dodge County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call from McNeilus Manufacturing that one of its workers was trapped inside a truck.
"He was alert and breathing at the time of the call," said Capt. Ryer Anderson of the Dodge County Sheriff's Office. "The victim had a piece of equipment around the neck area when they were relaying the information."
Dodge Center firefighters extricated the worker, and he was transported by helicopter to Mayo Clinic Hospital - Saint Marys Campus in Rochester for treatment.
The victim's name has not been released. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
