JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
One person is dead after a crash near I-55.
JPD says according to witnesses, at around 8 am, a woman was speeding on Elton Road towards the interstate. We're told she lost control and hit a tree, causing her car to burst into flames.
Her name has not yet been released. No one else was hurt.
