CROSSLAKE, Minn.
A 21-year-old Eagan man is dead following an incident Wednesday involving a personal watercraft on Rush Lake.
The Crow Wing County sheriff's office reported receiving a call of a possible personal watercraft crash at 4:36 p.m. Wednesday. It was determined the man was operating the watercraft and had entered the water.
Witnesses were able to remove the victim from the water and transport him to shore, where resuscitation efforts were performed. The man was transported by ambulance to a nearby air ambulance landing zone. Lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful and the man was pronounced dead.
The investigation into the incident continues.
