SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KCRA) —
Two people died Friday evening in a fiery Sacramento County crash off Bradshaw Road, California Highway Patrol officials said.
A Dodge Challenger was going southbound on Bradshaw Road approaching Rogers Road at about 10:50 p.m. when it collided with a Toyota pickup truck making a left turn at Rogers Road.
The truck was pushed off the road into a culvert and burst into flames. The driver and passenger in the truck were ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The two killed appear to be a male and female from Sacramento, CHP officials said.
The crash remains under investigation, but CHP officials said the Challenger was going above the posted speed limit on Bradshaw Road.
The driver and passenger in the Challenger were taken to hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
