1 injured after dump truck overturns on Route 1 in Bear, Delaware

A dump truck overturned on Route 1 in Bearl, Delaware on Monday.

BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- 

 

An overturned dump truck has forced lane closures on a busy highway in Bear, Delaware.

The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. Monday on southbound Route 1 near Route 72 (Wrangle Hill Road).

The view from Chopper 6 showed the truck on its side in the median. Some lanes of both Route 1 northbound and Route 1 southbound were closed.

One person was injured. There was no word on that person's condition.

There was no word on the cause of the crash.
