THE ROLLOVER RISKS ARE EVEN GREATER DURING WINTER WEATHER: NORTHBOUND US-131 REOPENS IN ALLEGAN COUNTY, MICHIGAN AFTER TWO SEMI-CRUSHES (ROLLOVERS)









WAYLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — A section of northbound US-131 has reopened in Allegan County after it was closed due to a semi-truck crash.

The crash occurred near the Dorr exit early Monday afternoon and caused the northbound lanes to be closed north of the Wayland exit, which is Superior Street, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.




A second crash involving an overturned semi-truck also occurred south of the Wayland exit. In that instance, the truck rolled into the median.




It’s unclear if anyone was injured in either crash.
