ANOTHER TRUCK ROLLOVER: TRACTOR TRAILER GOES OFF ROUTE 422 NEAR POTTSTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA SPILLS LOAD OF TRASH

Another truck rollover:  Tractor trailer goes off Route 422 near Pottstown, PA, spills load of trash

LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP., Pa. - A tractor trailer hauling trash created quite a mess when it rolled off Route 422 near Pottstown on Monday. The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. in the westbound lanes of 422 near the Armand Hammer Boulevard exit in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County.

The driver lost control of the 18-wheeler, causing the rig to clip the edge of a bridge, go off the highway and down an embankment, according to a fire official on the scene.
The rig came to rest on its side, spilling much of its load. Both westbound lanes of 422 were closed for about an hour until crews could manage to reopen one lane of travel. The driver was not injured.
