SUNRISE BEACH, Mo. Searchers have found the bodies of two men from Louisiana killed in a boat crash on the Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the men died after their 44-foot speed boat became airborne, rolled in the air, hit the water and flipped upside down near Sunrise Beach. The crash occurred about 7 p.m. Friday near mile marker 10.3.

Witnesses nearby rushed to the crash to begin the search, State Troopers arrived about 13 minutes later, searching for the 2 missing boaters until sundown.

Dive teams and sonar crews resumed a search for the men's bodies Saturday morning, and concluded the search at about noon.

The Patrol identifies the men as 40-year-old Bradley Dunphy of Lafayette, Louisiana, and 49-year-old Richard Prince of Metaire, Louisiana.

The patrol says Prince was driving the boat, which was pulled from the lake late Friday.

The men were believed to be visiting the area for the boat race this weekend, although there was no organized races at the time of the crash.
