Employee injured after a car crashed through the wall of a Maryland liquor store

Car Crashes Into Liquor Store, Employee Injured
The crash happened around 6 p.m. Monday, according to police.

An employee was injured and transported to the hospital after a car crashed through the wall of a Maryland liquor store Monday evening, according to police.

Prince George's County police tweeted the above picture of the damage caused when they say a car crashed through the wall of a liquor store, located in the 2300 block of Iverson Street in Hillcrest Heights, around 6 p.m. Monday.

Police said the driver lost control of his car in the parking lot, leading him to crash into the building. They reported that he was not injured and was cooperating with police.

The injured employee was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
