Two killed in McCreary County ATV crash identified

PINE KNOT, Ky. (WKYT) - A man and woman were killed after riding an ATV into the path of pickup in McCreary County, according to Kentucky State Police.
The crash happened Saturday on US 27 South, in the Pine Knot community.
Investigators say Tony Myers, 43, of Helenwood, TN, was driving the ATV at the time. Myers was pronounced dead at the scene. Kentucky State Police said his passenger, Geneva Ridener, 45, of Whitley City, KY, was taken to Pioneer Community Hospital in Oneida where she was pronounced dead.
KSP said the two victims were not wearing helmets at the time. The driver of the truck, John Chitwood, 72 of Whitley City, was taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset for treatment of minor injuries.
