Two injured in construction accident at Doak Campbell Stadium

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -- Two workers were injured Monday afternoon in a construction accident at Florida State University's Doak Campbell Stadium.
Florida State University Police Major Jim Russell tells WCTV that workers were cutting a piece of material when it fell and struck two workers below.
FSUPD says one worker suffered an arm injury. The second worker fell and hit his head but was alert and conscious when crews arrived. Officials say he suffered a gash to the head but his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening. Doak Campbell Stadium has been under construction for renovations for the last nine months.
