CLEVELAND, OHIO—
A firefighter suffered minor injuries early Saturday battling a fire at an East Side mattress warehouse.
Fire spokesman Larry Gray said a firefighter spotted the blaze about 4:30 a.m. while driving back to the station from a West Side fire.
The fire at the Appliance and Mattress Warehouse caused extensive damage to the brick building on 2330 East 79th between Central and Lucia avenues.
No one was inside the building at the time. Gray said investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire.
