Four people have died and two are unaccounted for after a seaplane crash east of Tadoussac, Que., on Sunday afternoon.
The Beaver hydroplane went down north of Bergeronnes in a remote wooded area not accessible by road.
The Canadian Forces Base in Halifax dispatched a Cormorant helicopter and sent in people by parachute. Quebec's provincial police service followed later on ATVs, by helicopter and on foot.
The names of those who were aboard the plane have not yet been released.
It's the second time an Air Saguenay seaplane has been involved in a fatal crash.
The seaplane crashed in a wooded area on Quebec's North Shore.
In July 2010, four of the six people aboard a De Havilland Beaver died, in part because the pilot took off despite bad weather.
The airline did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Its website said it provides charters for fishing and hunting and mining exploration.

Five passengers and one pilot were on board the plane, according to Transportation Safety Board spokesperson Julie Leroux. Search and rescue personnel are at the site of the accident.
According to Nathalie Girard, a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec, the SQ received a call reporting the crash and participated in the search efforts.
Girard said the Canadian Forces is also involved and helped locate the plane.
The crash occurred in the middle of a forest about six kilometres north of Bergeronnes, about 440 km northeast of Montreal. The area is not accessible by road.
The SQ could not confirm if anyone had died in the incident. The time of the crash is unknown.
TSB investigators are heading to the site and should arrive by Sunday night. SQ officers are also en route.
