A tree service worker has died after falling from a tree in
Canton.
Canton police say the man was working on property off Wright
Road on Thursday when he fell from the tree. A medical helicopter was called
and landed at a nearby school, but the worker was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are withholding the man’s name pending
notification of his family.
Officials with the Occupational Safety and Health
Administration are investigating the incident.
Police say the man was working for Wayne’s Tree Removal of
Windsor Locks. A company official declined to comment.
