AMMONIA LEAK REPORTED AT R.C. BOTTLING PLANT NEAR AIRPORT IN LOUISVILLE, KY




 Emergency crews have responded to an ammonia leak near the Louisville Airport at the 7up / R.C. bottling group in the 6200 block of Strawberry Lane.

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WHAS) —

Emergency crews responded to an ammonia leak near the Louisville Airport at the 7up / R.C. bottling group in the 6200 block of Strawberry Lane. Officials received the call around 10 p.m. on February 5.




Officials have said no nearby houses or businesses are in danger.




Hazmat crews currently believe the leak is due to a problem in refrigeration.



Fire officials said that no one was transported from the scene.
