SUSPICIOUS HOUSE FIRE NEAR GREAT BEND, KANSAS DESTROYS
ENTIRE STRUCTURE

GREAT BEND, Kansas – The
Barton County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a house fire.
It happened Thursday in
the 100 block of Southwest 10 Avenue. While on patrol, sheriff’s deputies
discovered the fire.
The home was fully
engulfed in flames. The Great Bend Fire Department responded, and the fire was
quickly brought under control. The home was vacant at the time.
The fire has been deemed
suspicious, and Kansas State Fire Marshal’s Office has been notified to
investigate.
