CAR AND TRACTOR TRAILER INJURES TWO WHEN THE CAR SKIDDED THROUGH A STOP SIGN AT
THE END OF I-690 EXIT RAMP TO JONES ROAD IN THE TOWN OF VAN BUREN AND CRASHED
INTO THE TRUCK

Van Buren (WSYR-TV) - Friday morning’s burst of snow and
poor road conditions are blamed for a collision between a car and a tractor
trailer.
Onondaga County Sheriff’s spokesman, Detective Jon Seeber, says a Ford Taurus carrying two men skidded through a stop sign at the end of I-690 exit ramp to Jones Road in the Town of Van Buren.
It took rescue crews from the Baldwinsville, Lakeside, and Liverpool fire departments an hour to extricate the two people from the car.
They were transported to a hospital with what were described as non life threatening injuries.
The driver of the car was identified as Christopher Cole, 17, of Baldwinsville. The passenger was identified as Kirk Anderson, 20, also of Baldwinsville.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
