Update, 11:25 a.m.:
Pierre Bossier Mall has reopened following a gas leak that forced an evacuation of the location Tuesday morning.
CenterPoint Energy was able to shut off the gas to the mall and emergency crews checked the mall to be sure no gas escaped.
The area was evacuated for about two hours before the site was cleared, according to Shreveport Fire Department spokesperson Brian Griffith.
CenterPoint will continue repairs to fix the problem caused by the Tuesday morning accident that led to the evacuation.

Pierre Bossier Mall has been evacuated following a morning accident that damaged a main gas line.
Bossier City Police and Fire Department responded to the report of a crash at about 8:30 a.m. at the mall — located at 2950 E. Texas Street.
A delivery driver accidentally struck the side of the building while backing into a loading dock behind the J.C. Penney's. The accident caused damage to a structure protecting the main gas line going into the mall. The incident led to a leak.
Emergency crews responded and evacuated the mall as a precaution.
Centerpoint Energy is on site working to repair the gas line.
Pierre Bossier Mall will remain closed until the gas line is repaired.
