25-YEAR-OLD MAN WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED MONDAY NIGHT WHEN HE WAS STRUCK BY AN
EASTBOUND TRUCK ON ROUTE 46 IN ROXBURY, NEW JERSEY

ROXBURY, New Jersey
— The township man who was seriously injured when he was struck by a
truck on Route 46 earlier this week was listed in stable condition Wednesday,
police said.
The pedestrian
— Abel Argueta, 25, of the Kenvil section of Roxbury — was walking on
Route 46 at about 6:50
Argueta was struck by a
2010 Chevy Silverado driven by a 34-year-old Randolph man traveling on Route 46
East, police said. The driver has not been issued any summonses at this time,
police said.
Argueta was seriously
injured in the crash, sustaining several facial injuries, and was airlifted out
to Morristown Medical Center by New Jersey State Police helicopter, police
said.
The crash is currently
under investigation, police said.

seriously injured Monday night when he was struck by an eastbound truck on Route
46 in Roxbury, police said.
At about 6:50 p.m.,
the man, whose identity has not yet been released, was walking on Route 46 when
he decided to cross the highway by Second Street, police said.
The man was struck by
a 2010 Chevy Silverado driven by a 34-year-old Randolph man traveling on Route
46 East, police said. The driver has not been issued any summonses at this
time, police said.
The pedestrian was
transported to Morristown Medical Center by New Jersey State Police helicopter
with serious injuries, police said. His current medical status wasn't available
Tuesday morning, police said.
The crash is currently
under investigation, police said.
