2 MEN SERIOUSLY HURT IN MAHONING TOWNSHIP, PENNSYLVANIA

three fire companies begin their extrication of an injured Weissport man from a
pickup truck that collided Friday afternoon with a station wagon in Mahoning

Two men were injured
badly Friday afternoon when a station wagon and pickup truck collided head-on
on Route 902 in Mahoning Township.
The station wagon was
southbound on Route 902 shortly after 5 p.m. when it crashed into the
northbound pickup truck in an area known as Bugzies Mountain.
The drivers were trapped
in their vehicles and had to be extricated by rescue crews over the next hour.
The station wagon was
believed to have been driven by a West Penn Township man. The pickup driver is
from Weissport.
Mahoning Township police
is investigating the accident.
Mahoning, Summit Hill and
Lehighton fire companies assisted at the accident scene.
