BRACEVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – One person is dead
following a three-vehicle collision overnight in Braceville.
According to a release from the Ohio State Highway
Patrol, the accident happened about 11 p.m. on state Route 5 just east of state
Route 534, and took the life of Linda Reagan, 62, of Cuyahoga Falls.
The patrol reports that Reagan was driving a 2012
Ford Focus westbound in the eastbound lane when she collided head-on
with a 2000 Ford F-150 driven by a male teenager from Warren.
A 2011 Chevrolet Impala driven by Thomas Pabin, 62, of
Leavittsburg, was behind the teen, could not stop in time and ran into the back
of the truck.
Reagan was pronounced dead at the scene. The
teen was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren with non-life
threatening injuries. Pabin was treated and released at the scene, the patrol
reports.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, and
all of the drivers were wearing seat belts.
The crash is under investigation.
Assisting at the scene were crews from the Trumbull
County Sheriff’s Office, Braceville police, fire and EMS, and the Ohio
Department of Transportation
