OKLAHOMA CITY -
Firefighters rushed to save a home in Midtown after a
neighbor reported seeing flames late Sunday night.
According to the fire department, crews responded to the
fire just before 11:30 p.m. near N.W. 7th and Western. When firefighters
arrived, they reported seeing flames and smoke.
Firefighters tell us this fire started because a
homeless person who was trying to stay warm sought shelter inside the empty
home and lit a fire. For whatever reason, the fire spread.
No firefighters were hurt during the response.
