MAN SETS FIRE TO HIS BED AT A GARDEN INN HOTEL ROOM IN LAUREL, MD IN AN ATTEMPT TO COMMIT SUICIDE

Md. (WNEW) – Firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire in
Laurel Thursday night after a man set fire to the bed in his hotel room, fire
officials say.
Anne Arundel County Fire Department says the fire happened
at the Garden Inn at 3400 Maryland 198.
Officials say a man set the bed on fire in an attempted
suicide, but is still alive. He was flown to an area hospital.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the room.
No others were injured.
