Greek bulk carriers ALEXANDROS THEO and EPHESUS III collided on outer Istanbul anchorage, Ahikapi road, at 2138 LT Aug 14, after passing Bosphorus in southern direction. According to available information, no spill reported, vessels presumably suffered slight damages. 


Both vessel were anchored near collision site. Understood EPHESUS III allided with anchored ALEXANDROS THEO . As of 1230 UTC Aug 15, both vessel remained in the same position. ALEXANDROS THEO is en route from Varna, Bulgaria to Ghent, Belgium, EPHESUS III is en route from Tuapse, Russia to Alexandria, Egypt.
