St. Louis' office of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is investigating after a man died after falling from the Eads Bridge deck Thursday afternoon.
According to the St. Louis Fire Department, the man was doing restoration work on the bridge when a tugboat struck the bridge, causing the man to fall from the bridge and onto the boat. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The
victim was employed by Thomas Industrial Coatings based in Pevely,
Missouri. In 2006, three other Thomas Industrial Coatings employees died
