LOG TRUCK LOSES LOAD IN IVOR WHEN IT OVERTURNS IN SURRY COUNTY, VIRGINIA

SURRY COUNTY,
Va. (WAVY) — A tractor-trailer hauling logs overturned in Ivor Wednesday
afternoon, blocking a highway.
According
to the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 3:15
p.m. on Ivor Road (Highway 616), which is now blocked between Doles Road and
New Road.

Drewery said the log truck lost its load, and crews are currently working to
clear the debris.
The truck
driver was not injured.
The cause
of the incident is still being investigated.
