HURT IN CAR AND SEMI TRUCK CRASH ON U.S. 60 IN WITTMANN, ARIZONA

The Wittmann Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle
car accident on U.S. 60 that left and adult and four children injured on Sunday
morning, according to a department spokesman.
The collision involved a semi-truck on U.S. 60 near
Milepost 134 northeast of Phoenix, less than a mile east of Jomax Road,
according to Wittmann Fire Capt. Johnny Padilla, a spokesman with the
department.
Five people, including one adult and four children, were
injured, he said.
Padilla said two of the children required immediate care
and were flown by helicopter to a local hospital with possible life-threatening
injuries.
The adult and two other children had minor non-life
threatening injuries, he said.
