MARINE KILLED DURING FIERY WRECK IN SPRINGVILLE, SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA. A FRACKING WATER TRUCK CRASHED HIS SUV, CAUSING EXPLOSION AND FIRE.



Marine Killed During Fiery Wreck IN Springville, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.  A fracking water truck crashed his suv, causing explosion and fire.

UPDATE:



Springville, Susquehanna County - Pictures obtained by Eyewitness News show the fiery crash scene at the corner of State Route 29 and Strickland Hill Road in Springville, Susquehanna County, early Friday evening.



"I heard that one of the big trucks stopped and an SUV was sandwiched between the two big trucks," Stephanie Purdy, who heard the crash, said. "They smashed him and caught on fire."



Firefighters told Eyewitness News that two fracking trucks and an SUV we're stopped on Strickland Hill Road when a water truck smashed into the back of them, killing the man in the SUV.



Karin Dorman told Eyewitness News the man killed was her son-in-law, 27-year-old Andrew Stevens. She said he was in town, with his wife and two children, to be at his sister's wedding.



"He's done tours in Iraq and Afghanistan," Dorman said. "He's been an embassy guard in Africa and Canada."



Dorman also told Eyewitness News that road where Stevens was killed is very dangerous and that there's a wreck in the area almost every week.



No one else was hurt in the crash.



State Police haven't said if anyone will face any charges.

State Police are on the scene of a fatal wreck in Susquehanna County.



It happened just before 430PM off of State Route 29 near Strickland Hill Road in Springville.



Sources on the scene say 3 trucks and an SUV were involved.



The driver of the SUV died after the crash.
